The Door Open kit lights the footwell area of your van like a modern car. Lights turns on and off when you open either front door using existing vehicle wiring and powered by your van’s battery. The Version 2.0 Door light kit includes the a Push Button to further customize your installation. Installation of the button allows you to disable the door-open function or turns on lights when the door is closed (perfect for camping!). Kits are available in warm white, cool white, red, green, and blue.

The LED’s draw very little power and are the perfect amount of light for the Vanagon interiors. I’ve shared a YouTube video below as well as pictures that capture where the light hits. Installation instructions provided. Ask any questions I’d be happy to answer them! LED draw for the Door Open kit is 4W .35A when on.
